Rights & compliance
What changes in events
The booking flow is identical in every market. The rights are not — which is the actual reason this is a vertical product and not a generic freelance board.

- Available, priced separately
Organisers generally need worldwide use for the event cycle plus promotion of the following year. Speaker likeness is licensed separately from the footage.
Releases required
- talent Required
Speakers and panellists — approval rights over their own segments are common.
- model Situational
Attendees are usually covered by signage and ticket terms rather than individual releases, but identifiable hero shots should still be cleared.
- venue Required
Convention centres and hotels routinely require permission and proof of insurance.
Credentials & cover
- Event or venue badge
- Vendor registration
- Certificate of insurance naming the venue
- General liability — $1M–$2M, venue often named as additional insured
Attendee notice
Recording notice on tickets and at room entrances is the standard mechanism. It does not substitute for a release where an attendee is featured as a subject.
Sponsor attribution
Sponsored sessions frequently carry contractual requirements about branding visibility in delivered footage.
