Retail & brand
Product video, campaign content and creator-led UGC
DTC brands, retailers and agencies. Briefed rather than scheduled, priced per asset, and the vertical where usage rights and whitelisting matter more than the day rate.

Rights & compliance
What changes in retail
The booking flow is identical in every market. The rights are not — which is the actual reason this is a vertical product and not a generic freelance board.
Default licence
- Copyright
- Creator retains
- Term
- Campaign window
- Territory
- worldwide
- Exclusivity
- Category exclusive
- Media included
- Organic socialWeb
- Copyright buyout
- Available, priced separately
Organic use is included. Paid amplification and whitelisting on a creator handle are separately priced, because they are a materially different product from an organic post.
Releases required
- talent Required
The creator appearing on camera, with the usage window stated explicitly.
- model Required
Any additional person appearing in the content.
Credentials & cover
- No statutory credential
- Brand safety and category-exclusivity checks
- General liability where shooting on brand premises
Endorsement disclosure
Material connections must be disclosed clearly and conspicuously. This is the creator's obligation and the brand's, and burying it in a hashtag block does not satisfy it.
Reviews and testimonials
The FTC rule effective October 2024 prohibits fake and AI-generated reviews, incentivised sentiment, and undisclosed insider reviews, with substantial per-violation penalties. It constrains ShotlistX's own review system as much as any brand campaign — which is why reviews here are tied to completed bookings and cannot be purchased.
Synthetic media marking
EU AI Act obligations on synthetic content became applicable in August 2026, requiring machine-readable marking of AI-generated image and video and disclosure by deployers. Provenance for human-captured work stops being a nicety and becomes a documentable property of the asset.
