Weddings & private events
Wedding film, same-day reels and private celebrations
The deepest creator supply of any vertical and the largest per-event spend — but the couple never books twice, so the recurring relationship is with planners and venues.

Rights & compliance
What changes in weddings
The booking flow is identical in every market. The rights are not — which is the actual reason this is a vertical product and not a generic freelance board.
Default licence
- Copyright
- Creator retains
- Term
- Perpetual
- Territory
- worldwide
- Exclusivity
- Non-exclusive
- Media included
- Organic socialWebPrint
- Copyright buyout
- Available, priced separately
The couple receives perpetual personal use. The creator retains copyright and the right to show the work as a portfolio piece — which couples occasionally want restricted, and that restriction is a term worth pricing rather than assuming.
Releases required
- model Required
The couple, for portfolio and marketing use. Guests are covered by the couple's consent for private delivery but not for published marketing.
- venue Required
Venues frequently require insurance and a vendor agreement before access.
Credentials & cover
- Venue vendor approval
- Certificate of insurance — commonly $2M
- General liability — $2M is the common venue requirement
- Equipment cover
Date-lock and retainer
A non-refundable retainer holds an unrepeatable date, with the balance due before the event. The date, not the hour, is the scarce resource — which is why the booking model here is a hold rather than a schedule.
Portfolio restriction
Some couples require that no imagery be published at all. Treated as a priced term rather than an afterthought, since it removes the creator's marketing benefit from the job.
